Role

• RN in the OR
• Travel assignment
• 3 openings
• Main OR
• 13 weeks
• Days, 4x10, 0630-1700
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• Call required any day scheduled, average around 5 or less per 8 weeks
• Float requirements as required by facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
• Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
• Driver's License
• Flu vaccination or Mercy approved exemption required for all travelers from November 1-April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 1 trauma with multiple years of experience
• Teaching hospital experience will be considered

Unit Details

• Main 22 beds
• ASC 8 beds
• Ortho 10 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment includes DaVinci robot
• EMR: EPIC

Patient Population

• Outpatient to critical care inpatient

Work Setting

• Assist with Vascular Surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite
• Work with a team of nurses and surgical techs for Endo and Open cases

Additional Notes

• Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in area of responsibility
• Highly motivated self-starter preferred
• Black scrubs
• Unacceptable attire includes unprofessional attire and jeans
