CT Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Unit: Radiology
- Main Campus
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT Certification
- BLS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with GE imaging equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- CT
Clinical Details
- Average 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
- Staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; 3 techs overnight
- Performs ED and IP CT exams only
- Procedures include trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
- Uses Meditech
- Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice CT scanners
