RN Inpatient Care Coordinator

Case Management (8 years of experience)
Case Management experience within the last year
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Knowledge of basic ICD-9 and CPT coding
Care Manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

Case Management certification by a recognized certifying organization such as NCQA or CCMC

Assignment Details

13-week contract
40 hours per week
Shift will be discussed at interview

Role Summary

Manages patient progression of care, promotes evidence-based protocols, ensures appropriateness of interventions, and expedites care delivery for admitted patients
Directs patient care services to support timely and appropriate discharge
Reviews patient records, evaluates patient progress, and supports utilization review, case management, discharge planning, and quality review functions
Performs tumor registry functions
Does not have supervisory responsibilities
