Operating Room RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Castro Valley, California
Evening shift: 4x10 hours, 13:00–23:30
40 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
On call: as needed
Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
1 year or more of total travel experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Role Responsibilities

Plans, manages, and coordinates nursing care for surgical patients
Provides specialized care and treatment
Directs and supervises ancillary nursing personnel
Collaborates with the health team

Ability to make fine discrimination in sound
