Description
Medical Surgical
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
- 13-week assignment.
- Day or night 3x12 shifts.
- 37-bed surgical unit that takes some overflow medicine patients.
- Typical staffing ratios are 4 patients per RN on days/evenings and 5-6 patients per RN on nights.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Med Surg (2 years of experience).
- Med Surg experience within the last year.
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend.
- Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs.
- On-call is not required.
Additional Notes
- Locals are not accepted within a 100-mile radius.
- Open to accommodating block schedule: no.
- RTO restriction: ideally no more than 5 days.
- Charting system: Epic (Excellian).
