HumanEdge Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable facility in Boardman, Ohio. This role is ideal for an experienced RRT looking to provide top-tier respiratory care while gaining travel experience in a supportive clinical setting.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12s | Rotating Weekends

• Setting: Acute/Inpatient

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver high-quality, intensive respiratory care and assist with patient transport in/out of the facility.

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized respiratory treatment plans in collaboration with providers.

• Perform and manage a variety of procedures and therapies: invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, EKGs, trach care, and arterial blood gas collection.

• Administer medications via nebulizers and manage aerosol devices.

• Participate in bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and other critical care procedures as needed.

• Monitor patient condition using oximetry and capnography, reviewing imaging and making necessary therapy adjustments.

• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in medical records.

• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and follow hospital protocols for infection control and respiratory safety.

• Support interdisciplinary communication during shift handoffs and care transitions.

Requirements:

• Current RRT credential (NBRC)

• Active Ohio Respiratory Care license

• BLS and ACLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred

• Proficiency with ventilator management and respiratory diagnostics
