HumanEdge Health is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected healthcare facility in Cleveland, Ohio. This opportunity is perfect for a skilled RT ready to provide high-level respiratory care on night shifts.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Cleveland, OH

• Schedule: Nights | 3x12s

• Duration: 13 weeks

• Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver intensive respiratory care and manage intra-facility patient transport within scope of practice.

• Evaluate patients and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement treatment plans.

• Operate and manage invasive and non-invasive ventilators, oxygen/aerosol therapy, and nebulizer treatments.

• Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal).

• Monitor patients via oximetry and capnography; interpret results and adjust care accordingly.

• Conduct and analyze 12-lead EKGs and pulmonary function tests (NIF, VC, etc.).

• Support respiratory-related procedures including bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and tracheostomy care.

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation.

• Provide CPR in accordance with BLS and ACLS guidelines.

• Manage endotracheal tube placement/removal using manual or video-assisted techniques.

• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and other equipment.

• Document all assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and timely.

• Participate in interdisciplinary handoffs and maintain communication with providers.

• Ensure accurate respiratory therapy charging and recordkeeping.

Requirements:

• Active RRT certification (NBRC)

• Ohio Respiratory Care license

• Current BLS and ACLS

• Recent acute care experience (1+ year preferred)

• Familiarity with a wide range of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
