HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced LTAC Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashville, TN. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-acuity care while supporting long-term patient outcomes.

Overview:

The RN is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality patient care by ensuring nursing care plans are followed. This role includes the supervision of Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments within 8 hours of admission and develop individualized care plans.

• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in patient conferences.

• Initiate discharge planning upon admission and provide patient/family education.

• Safely supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff.

• Promote and practice patient and employee safety, including infection prevention and safe patient handling.

• Participate in team building and positive communication across the unit.

• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (TN or compact)

• BLS required; ACLS preferred

• 1+ year of recent LTAC or ICU experience strongly preferred

• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity setting with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
