Description:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide acute care in a hospital setting. Pediatric experience preferred. The therapist will administer treatments, assist physicians with ventilatory support, and perform pulmonary assessments and procedures.
Qualifications:

A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy
-
NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
-
Minimum 2 years of clinical acute care experience

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
-
Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy
-
Institute and monitor oxygen therapy
-
Assist physicians with continuous ventilation
-
Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
-
Perform pulmonary function tests
-
Perform radial arterial punctures
-
Provide patient care in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
