Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)

Qualifications:

• A.A.S. degree in Respiratory Therapy
• NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
• Minimum 2 years of clinical acute care experience required
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Duties:

• Administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients
• Institute and monitor oxygen therapy
• Assist physicians with continuous ventilation management
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Perform pulmonary function tests
• Perform radial arterial punctures
• Able to perform majority of patient care functions in acute care with minimal orientation and supervision

Preferences:

• Candidates located outside a 100-mile radius preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Cannot accommodate block scheduling
• Will not accept travelers seeking to work two assignments simultaneously
