Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Emergency Department (Nights)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/14
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (every other weekend and some holidays required)
Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Pediatric Emergency Department RNs for a Level I Trauma Center in Syracuse, NY. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity pediatric settings and possess strong triage and critical thinking skills.
Unit Details:

Pediatric Emergency Department only – no adult assignments

Level I Trauma Center
-
EPIC EMR preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Perform comprehensive triage and assessment of pediatric patients
-
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care for a full spectrum of pediatric conditions

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Prioritize patient safety, communication, and family-centered care
-
Maintain compliance with all hospital and nursing policies
Requirements:
-
License: Current New York RN license (active and in good standing)

Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) required

Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Pediatric Emergency Department experience in a Level I or II trauma facility

Adult ED experience a plus, but pediatric ED experience must be primary
Preferred: EPIC EMR experience; strong triage background and formal triage training required
