Travel: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg/Telemetry (Nights)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/14
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (every other weekend and 2 of 3 major seasonal holidays required)
Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Syracuse, NY. This is a great opportunity for RNs with strong med/surg and telemetry backgrounds who are comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Unit Details:
-
Adult Med/Surg units with telemetry monitoring
-
Level I Trauma Center
-
EPIC charting system preferred
Responsibilities:
-
Provide direct patient care for adult med/surg/telemetry patients
-
Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
-
Perform thorough assessments and deliver patient-centered care
-
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Ensure compliance with hospital and nursing policies
Requirements:
-
License: Active New York State RN license (in good standing)

Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) required

Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience in a similar hospital setting (within the past 2 years)

Preferred: Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, EPIC EMR familiarity

Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule Notes:

Nights only (12-hour shifts)

Every other weekend and 2 of 3 major holidays required
