Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 11/14
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (every other weekend and 2 of 3 major seasonal holidays required)

Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses for a travel assignment at a leading acute care hospital in Syracuse, NY. This is a great opportunity for RNs with strong med/surg and telemetry backgrounds who are comfortable in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Unit Details:

• Adult Med/Surg units with telemetry monitoring

• Level I Trauma Center

• EPIC charting system preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for adult med/surg/telemetry patients

• Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry

• Perform thorough assessments and deliver patient-centered care

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Ensure compliance with hospital and nursing policies

Requirements:

• License: Active New York State RN license (in good standing)

• Certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) required

• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience in a similar hospital setting (within the past 2 years)

• Preferred: Level 1 or 2 trauma experience, EPIC EMR familiarity

• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule Notes:

• Nights only (12-hour shifts)

• Every other weekend and 2 of 3 major holidays required
