Location: Bayard, IA | 13 Weeks | Start 12/08/2025 | Nights, 12-Hour Shifts

Assignment Details:

<ul>
	<li>
	Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts; must be available for weekdays and weekends as assigned
	
	</li><li>
	Duration: 13 weeks
	
	</li><li>
	Unit: Inpatient substance abuse treatment for adults 18+
	
	</li><li>
	Beds: 50 (20 female / 30 male)
	
	</li><li>
	Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1 RN on night shift; 2-3 BHA (techs) from 7p–11p, 1 tech from 11p–7a
	
	</li><li>
	EMR: HCS
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Active RN license
	
	</li><li>
	Experience: Minimum 12 months; psychiatric experience preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Certifications: BLS required
	
	</li><li>
	Competency in CIWA/COWS assessments, urine drug screens, and maintaining firm, empathic boundaries
	
</li></ul>

Additional Information:

	<li>
	Voluntary patients; no restraints
	
	</li><li>
	Admin and physician on-call at all times; no on-site security
	
	</li><li>
	Visiting hours: Sundays 1–4 p.m.
