Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of processing CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements

• Experience with Philips CT equipment.
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• Willingness to float between campuses as needed.
• Availability to pick up additional shifts as needed.
• AHCA required for all CHS FL placements.
