Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Perfusionist to join our team. This full-time position supports adult cardiopulmonary procedures and advanced technical perfusion work across the operating room, cath lab, ICU, and ER as needed.
Responsibilities:
-
Provide perfusion support for adult cardiac procedures: CABG, AVR, MVR, Aortic Repairs, AngioVac, Heart Transplants, ECMO, Acute VADs

Support non-cardiac procedures: Liver Transplants, HIPEC, ECMO (VV), Autologous Blood Recovery
-
Operate and maintain heart/lung machine and accessory equipment

Provide support for cardiac devices: IABP, Impella CP/5.5/RP Flex, ProTek Duo, ECMO (VA), CentriMag, HeartMate 3

Administer medications, blood components, and anesthetic agents under physician supervision

Perform equipment maintenance, checklists, and documentation

Participate in policy/procedure development, performance improvement, quality management, and staff education

Assist staff and hospital personnel while prioritizing patient care

Maintain proficiency in all procedures and accessory equipment
