Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg/Telemetry (Days)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: 12-hour shifts
Weekends: Every other
Holidays: Some required
HumanEdge Health is seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses for adult Med/Surg/Telemetry units in Syracuse, NY. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Position Details:

Adult Medical-Surgical units with telemetry
-
Day shift, 12-hour shifts
-
Set schedules; excessive time off or fixed days of the week will not be approved
Qualifications:
-
Current New York State RN license
-
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent Med/Surg experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity
-
Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma designation
-
Ability to start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry
Certifications:
-
BLS (required)
Preferred:
-
Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience
-
Epic EMR experience
Skills and Competencies:
-
Strong nursing assessment and patient care skills

Ability to perform the majority of patient care skills with minimal orientation and supervision

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
