• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (or until cases are complete). Call from 3:30 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include:

• Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrating proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of processing of CT systems, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (R) registered
  • ARRT (CT) registered
  • BLS required
• Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in CT preferred
• Education:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science
• Additional Info:

  • Must include home address and SSN on submissions.
  • Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
