Travel CT Scan Technologist | Kingston, PA

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x10hr, 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

  • ARRT, CT Certification required

  • BLS & CPR required

  • Minimum 1.5 years CT Scan Tech experience

  • Recent travel experience preferred (1+ year)

  • Must be able to perform basic CT procedures, venipuncture for injections, operate power injector, administer IV contrast as ordered by physician, and perform 3-D reformats on scanner/workstation

Scope of Role:

  • Coverage in hospital for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room CT scans

  • Types of services: CT scans for outpatient, inpatient, and ER studies

  • Perform routine diagnostic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures

  • Knowledge of processing CT system, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and licensed by the state as a general radiographer, providing timely diagnostic services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
