Start Date: 02/23/26
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts | 36 hours per week
Shift Time: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekends: As needed

Position Overview:
A Behavioral Health facility in Danvers, MA is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to support a detox unit providing 24-hour nursing care for individuals withdrawing from alcohol and/or other substances. This role focuses on patient safety, symptom management, medication administration, and emotional support during a critical stage of recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document withdrawal symptoms, patient responses to treatment, and safety status

• Administer medications in accordance with clinical protocols

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

• Respond to patient care needs and assist with activities of daily living

• Promote a safe, therapeutic environment

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers

• Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning

Qualifications:

• Active RN license

• Behavioral Health / Psych experience preferred

• Detox or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently on night shift

• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

• Flexibility to work weekends as needed
