Job Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
• Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM
• Schedule: Every other weekend, no call requirements
• Floating: Required to float to other units as needed
• Block Scheduling: Yes

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:6
• Scrub Color: Navy

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid RN license in Indiana
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• EMR: Cerner preferred
• Skills:

  • Interpret telemetry strips
  • Administer/manage cardiac medications (PO, IVP, IV drip)
  • Charting assessments
  • Bedside shift report
  • Patient safety management
• Additional:

  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • Required to work holidays scheduled during contract period unless covered by regular staff
