Location: Albany, NY 
Assignment Length: 13 weeks 
Start Date: 03/09/26 
Schedule: Day shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years OR experience 
Weekends: 1 in 3 
Holidays: Rotating 
On Call: Possible

Position Overview: 
A high-acuity surgical program in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-specialty experience and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Clinical Experience Required:

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
	
	</li><li>
	Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies
	
	</li><li>
	Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff
	
	</li><li>
	Accurately document care in the electronic medical record
	
	</li><li>
	Support turnover efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards
	
</li></ul>

Requirements:

<ul>
	<li>
	Active RN license
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room experience
	
	</li><li>
	BLS required
	
	</li><li>
	ACLS preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
	
	</li><li>
	Ability to take call as needed
	
</li></ul>
