Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Med/Surg
Assignment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights
Units: Adult Medical/Surgical
Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and some holidays required
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced night-shift travel RNs for adult Med/Surg units. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in fast-paced acute care environments and able to function independently with minimal orientation.
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients
-
Start peripheral IVs and draw laboratory specimens
-
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
-
Perform accurate nursing assessments and respond to changes in patient condition
-
Deliver patient care with minimal supervision in an acute care setting
-
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications:
-
Current New York State RN license
-
BLS certification (must be able to be re-certified)
-
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
-
Travelers must have experience in hospitals of equal or greater size or Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers

Level 1 or 2 trauma experience preferred

EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
