Registered Nurse (RN)

Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) 
Location: Norwich, CT 
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks 
Start Date: 02/23/2026 
Shift: PM / Nights 
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts 
Shift Hours: Primary 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM 
Flexibility Required: Ability to flex to 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week 
On Call: None

Position Overview: 
The Emergency Department RN provides high-quality, fast-paced care to a diverse emergency patient population. This role requires strong trauma experience and flexibility with evening-to-night shift coverage.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>
	Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity setting
	
	</li><li>
	Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care
	
	</li><li>
	Manage trauma and critical care patients
	
	</li><li>
	Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
	
	</li><li>
	Document patient care accurately and efficiently
	
</li></ul>

Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>
	Active RN license
	
	</li><li>
	Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
	
	</li><li>
	Trauma experience required
	
	</li><li>
	EPIC charting experience preferred
	
	</li><li>
	Strong ability to adapt to fluctuating acuity and shift needs
	
</li></ul>
