Job Opportunity: RN - Tele (Travel)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Facility Type: Trauma Level III Hospital, 38 beds

Job Details

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hour shifts)
• Additional Shifts:

  • 1 charge shift (12 hours)
  • 2 clinical coach shifts (8 hours each)
  • 1 administrative shift (8 hours) for chart review and audits
• Weekend Requirement: Must work 6 weekend shifts during the contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Staff and patient rounding
• Resolve Pyxis discrepancies (2nd level)
• Address barriers to room assignment and staffing plan; escalate to ED leadership as needed
• Support ED charge nurse with daily productivity management
• Address equipment, medical, and supply issues impacting ED care
• Ensure sepsis workflow compliance
• Provide real-time coaching to staff
• Float to other units as needed

Required Qualifications

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience (highest required)
• Preferred: Charge nurse experience on day shifts
• EMR System: Cerner
• Additional: NIH certification recommended but not required
