Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology
Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Arizona CT Technologist license (general radiographer license required by the state)
- BLS certification
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities as needed
Additional Information
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours each (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- Floating required to nearby facilities
- Scrubs: Any color allowed
