Position: CT Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all required paperwork and requisitions for ordered exams promptly.
• Schedule exams in a timely manner.
• Perform diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic C-arm exams on patients, including portable equipment use.
• Inject IV contrast media as needed.
• Conduct various examinations, image reconstructions, and printing protocols as directed by Radiologists.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical and electronic equipment failures related to radiographic machines and processors.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer related questions.
• Safely move and transport patients to and from the department.
• Order necessary supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Treat all patients, guests, coworkers, and physicians with courtesy and respect regardless of cultural/ethnic background, gender, orientation, or age.
• Attend required in-services and orientations.
• Collaborate closely with floor staff to facilitate excellent patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule

• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Certifications and Experience

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• CT Certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Medical Imaging field (excluding schooling)
• Experience operating facility-specific equipment (Philips)
