Job Description

• Work in a Level 1 trauma center OR caring for a wide variety of patients.
• Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma.
• Use of 2 DaVinci surgical robots across multiple services.
• Involvement in transplant surgeries including liver, kidney, and heart.
• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating during surgeries.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State only.
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience.
• Ability to scrub and circulate in the OR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Level 1 trauma hospital experience is highly desired.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Robotics experience preferred.

Shift Details

• D/E/N rotating shifts.
• On call/callback, floating, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Specialty Experience

• Preferred experience with specialty cases such as transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgery, craniotomy, and strong orthopedic background.
