Travel Emergency Room RN – Meriden, CT

Assignment: 12 Weeks
Start Date: 04/06/26
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (36 hrs/week) | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Care Setting: Emergency Department
Location: Meriden, CT
Schedule: Every other weekend, every other major holiday; no on-call

Position Overview
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Meriden, CT. This role supports a high-volume ED with patient visits exceeding 150 per day, providing critical care and emergency interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care in a high-acuity ED setting
Triage and monitor patients, manage emergency interventions
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary team
Document patient care accurately in EPIC

Requirements

Active CT RN license
Minimum 2 years recent ED experience in a high-volume department
EPIC ASAP module experience within past 6 months
NIHSS certification (one-year requirement only)
Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
