Schedule: Day shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years OR experience
Weekends: 1 in 3
Holidays: Rotating
On Call: Possible

Position Overview:
A high-acuity surgical program in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-specialty experience and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Clinical Experience Required:

• Cardiac

• Neuro

• Thoracic

• Orthopedic

• Vascular

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies

• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical staff

• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record

• Support turnover efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards

Requirements:

• Active RN license

• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room experience

• BLS required

• ACLS preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability

• Ability to take call as needed
