Job Summary

• Perform CT scanning procedures with professionalism and service excellence.
• Prepare and maintain medical, surgical, and radiological supplies according to protocols.
• Maintain sterility of field and instruments during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to alleviate anxiety while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Verify patient identification and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Monitor patient condition before and after contrast injections; report changes promptly.
• Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, labs, and patient history.
• Initiate emergency response if complications arise.
• Maintain adequate linen, contrast media, biopsy, and drainage supplies in scanning rooms.
• Assist with inventory management and routine cleaning of CT equipment and rooms.
• Coordinate workflow, triage procedures, and manage emergency and unscheduled requests when assigned as Point staff.
• Screen patients for allergies and medication incompatibilities related to contrast use.
• Maintain QA/QC requirements per daily, monthly, and ACR specifications.
• Follow venipuncture and power injector protocols.
• Immediately process and communicate critical images (e.g., Code Grey, Trauma) to radiologists.
• Notify radiologists of any unusual findings to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from an accredited School or College of Radiography.
• Current ARRT RT (R) and ARRT RT (CT) certifications.
• New Jersey State X-Ray License (NJDEP).
• BLS (CPR) Certification.
• Must be CT registered.
• Venipuncture skills included.

• 13 weeks

Additional Notes

• This is a travel assignment requiring flexibility and professionalism.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 7 AM to 8 PM including on-call duties.
