Job Description

• Position: CT Technologist for an outpatient center
• Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No on-call duties
• Responsibilities include performing CT procedures such as lung screenings and CT angiography (CTA) if possible

Credentials & Compliance Requirements

Licenses & Certifications

• Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, immunity, or verified history (no declinations accepted)

• Tdap: Valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted
• TB Testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA within required timeframes; if positive, chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire required
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers, preferred before start, can be completed onsite

Background & Screening

• Criminal background check including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG search, national sex offender registry, and others within 30 days of assignment start
• Drug Screen: 12-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Employment and education verifications required and must be current

Training & Competencies

• Ascension Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics) completed within one year, minimum 80% score
• Skills checklist for clinical specialty completed within one year and updated annually
• Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training)
