CT Technologist Position
Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Rotating shifts over a 2-week pay period (.90 FTE):
- Week 1: Monday-Wednesday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Friday & Saturday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Week 2: Monday-Wednesday and Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Every other weekend working 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Holidays rotate with regular staff
- Call based on department needs (currently none but may change)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging with 1+ years of CT and X-ray experience
- Assist with X-ray duties when workload requires
- May float onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles if needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Wisconsin
- ARRT certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- X-Ray Technician experience
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Onboarding and Compliance Requirements
- Submission of current professional license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start
- Professional resume/profile and at least two professional references required before assignment
- Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% passing score
- Completion of specialty exam with minimum 80% passing score prior to first assignment, updated every 3 years
- Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and EPLS within 90 days of start
- Employment and education verifications completed and updated as required
- Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker onboarding forms and attestations completed onsite
- Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Drug screening (12-panel) within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
- Driver’s license or state ID (valid, unexpired, matching address requirements)
- Health and immunization documentation including:
- MMR (two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted)
- Varicella (two vaccines, immunity evidence, or history; no declinations accepted)
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Tdap valid within 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Fit test for respiratory protection (preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite)
- 2-step PPD or IGRA testing with annual TB questionnaire
- Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Influenza vaccine is optional; if declined during flu season, mask wearing required
- Color vision test completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
- Forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations)
Additional Notes
- This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Floating to other nearby sites may be required based on department needs
- Prior travel experience is mandatory for this role
