CT Technologist - New York, Cooperstown

Job Type

• Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12 hours)
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12 hours)
• Every other Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 PM (16 hours)
• Rotating 4-week schedule with a mix of weekdays and weekend shifts
• Primarily day and evening shifts
• No on-call requirements

Clinical Information

• Patient Volume: Varies; typically slower overnight
• Imaging Equipment includes Philips Incisive CT, Philips Spectral CT, Philips C-90 X-ray, GE portable X-ray, and OEC C-arms
• Modalities: CT and X-ray only
• Patient Population: Emergency Department, Inpatient, Outpatient, and procedural cases
• Average Scans per Shift: Approximately 12–20
• Common Scan Types: Emergency, Trauma, Neuro, Orthopedic imaging
• Contrast Studies: Technologists responsible for initiating and monitoring contrast exams as applicable

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Authorization and certification for IV contrast injection (New York State Injection License)

Additional Onboarding Requirements

• Core competencies, unit exam, and skills checklist completion
• Immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test, Varicella, Fit test, and physical/health statement
• Background checks, professional references, education verification, employment verification, drug screen, and other standard professional documentation
