Job Opportunity: RN Endoscopy

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week, days
• Variable start times
• 4 shifts of 10 hours each (4x10hr shifts)

Specialty & Experience

• Specialty: RN Endoscopy
• Endoscopy experience preferred (no explicit minimum years stated)

Required Credentials & Certifications

• License: Valid nursing license with primary source verification (NURSYS and Board of Nursing required). MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
  • ACLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
• Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing available).
• Immunizations & Health Requirements:

  • MMR: Documentation of vaccination or immunity proof required
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity proof strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Additional Health Documentation:

  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
  • Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation (optional)
  • TB Symptom Survey if positive PPD (optional)

Professional Requirements

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
• National Sex Offender Check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest degree achieved
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience (with city & state)
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist required for submission
• Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
• Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions
