Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit.
• Patient population: Adult medical patients.
• Clinician to patient ratio: 1 RN to 4-5 patients.
• Shifts: Days, evenings, nights with rotation every other week (EOW) and as needed to cover open night shifts.
• Must be able to read cardiac telemetry strips.
• Floating and rotating shifts required.
• Charting system: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Telemetry nursing experience of at least 3 years, including telemetry experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Initial Resuscitation Program Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (IRP ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred.
• Annual updates and compliance with health and professional credentialing requirements are mandatory.
• Must provide references and a detailed resume including 7 years of work history.
• Background checks include national sex offender registry and exclusion lists.
• No conditional licenses accepted; primary source verification of license required.

This position is ideal for experienced telemetry RNs comfortable with rotating shifts and telemetry monitoring in an adult inpatient setting.
