Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:15 PM - 7:15 AM), includes weekends and rotating holidays

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Intensive Care experience is required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

• MA nursing licenses require verification through both NURSYS and the Massachusetts Board of Nursing
• No fit testing can be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start date using the designated form
• Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within the last 7 years
• Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
• Assignment confirmation form required upon acceptance and for any changes in start date
