CT Technologist Position - Troy, New York

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Work Environment:

  • CT department located inside a 40+ bed Emergency Room (ER)
  • Patient population includes mainly ER patients, some ICU, and inpatients
• Equipment: Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Job Description

• Perform all CT scans independently (except cardiac scans)
• Work with an imaging aide
• Must be 100% independent and competent in all required CT procedures

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Immunization and Health Requirements (Must be completed prior to start)

• COVID-19 vaccine with booster proof (valid through September 2025) or approved exemption
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (titers not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine (optional)
• Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test for TB screening
• Fit test for N95 or equivalent mask (specific to location requirements)
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)

Background and Screening Requirements (Must be completed prior to start)

• 10-panel drug screen (including methadone, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, benzodiazepines, and others) completed within 30 days of start
• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 30 days
• OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check within 30 days
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check within 30 days, including aliases and statewide checks if applicable
• Trinity-specific forms and agreements including confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, integrity and audit services, system access, and I9 verification
• Specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist completed within the last year
• License/certification verification dated within 30 days of start

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work holidays and weekends as required (e.g., Labor Day coverage)
• Must be able to work overnight shifts independently
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
