Job Requirements & Details
- Must be available every other week (EOW) and for either Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday.
- Start date options: November 3 or November 17.
Credentials & Documentation Required
Submission Requirements (must be provided before consideration)
- Professional Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state details.
- Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above) in the relevant skillset.
- Skills checklist specific to the role.
- Candidate submission coversheet (current version).
Onboarding Requirements (must be completed before starting)
Licenses & Professional Credentials
- License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license/certification within 30 days of start date. MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. Both NURSYS and Board of Nursing verification required.
- Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through background check.
- Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start, including county and international searches if applicable.
- Massachusetts CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information): Run within 30 days prior to start.
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check covering last 7 years of addresses/aliases.
- National Sex Offender Check: Run within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
- Exclusion Checks: Run within 30 days prior to start and annually, including OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists.
Personal Health & Immunizations
- MGB Badge Photo: Recent color photo (within 6 months), plain background, no glasses, head/shoulders only.
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually. Must be completed prior to start; no onsite testing available.
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Completed prior to fit test and updated if medical status changes.
- MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30). No exemptions allowed.
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months.
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
- Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (if applicable): Required if TB test positive.
- Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years.
- Hepatitis B: Strongly preferred; record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity or declination.
Assignment Confirmation
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions, updated if start date changes.
Summary
This is a 13-week long-term assignment for an RN in the Emergency Room in Boston, MA. Candidates must be available every other week and for at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas). Comprehensive credentialing, immunization, and background checks are required prior to onboarding. The role requires strict adherence to health and safety protocols including N95 fit testing and immunization compliance.
