Job Details
- Shift & Schedule:
- On-Call: 36 hours every 6 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month
- Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:2 in Labor & Delivery unit
- Float Requirement: Yes
- Holiday Time Off: Requests for time off during holidays (Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day) will not be accommodated. Holiday time off requests can be addressed onsite after arrival.
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
- AWHONN Intermediate (or NCC for Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC accepted
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale Certification)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN or NCC required for L&D, OBGYN, Mother & Baby units
Note: Certifications must be actual uploaded certificates (screenshots/photos not accepted) and may not expire within 45 days of assignment start date. Renewals must be uploaded 5 days prior to expiration.

Background Checks

Licenses & Verifications

Health & Immunizations
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, signed by MD, DO, NP, APRN, or PA (DC not accepted)
- Negative TB test (QGold or Skin Test) within 1 year; T-spots not accepted
- TB questionnaire required
- Immunizations/vaccinations or positive titers required for:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Hepatitis B (vaccine series, titer, or declination)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Flu vaccine required for starts on or after 9/8/2025; exemptions only for approved medical or religious reasons (declinations not accepted)
Drug Testing
- Required within 45 days of start; panel includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, buprenorphine, cocaine, MDMA, fentanyl, marijuana, methadone, methamphetamine, opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine
- MRO signature required on drug screen report
- Only one dilute drug screen accepted
Competency Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required)
- Color Blind Testing (Ishihara test or online, required within 12 months)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for all RNs except L&D, Psych, LTC, Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post Partum, Transitional Care)
- Core Competency Exams Part I, II, III (required annually, minimum 80% pass rate)

- Photo for badge required (passport style, solid background, no filters or facial piercings)
- Onboarding attestation and review of facility-specific onboarding documents required
