Travel Registered Nurse (ICU) - Southbridge, Massachusetts

Job Details

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Massachusetts RN license
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from AHA or ARC
• Experience: (Not explicitly stated; assume minimum RN ICU experience typical for travel ICU roles)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Background check including:

  • 7-year search of locations lived/worked/schooled
  • Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search
  • Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance (attestation required)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within the past year (3M-1860-Regular or Small)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSPOT within 90 days) or chest x-ray if prior positive
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: immunity proof or 2 vaccines; no declinations accepted
  • Hepatitis B: immunity proof or booster; declination allowed only if non-responder after full series
  • Varicella: immunity proof or 2 vaccines; no declinations accepted
• Drug screen: 10-panel urine drug test within 30 days of start (including Marijuana/THC)
• Seasonal vaccinations or declinations:

  • Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required year-round
  • COVID vaccine or facility-specific declination required; no medical exemptions accepted

Competency Requirements

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• General Competency Exam (as applicable)

References

• 2 professional references required for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 2 years of start)

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs licensed in Massachusetts who are available for a 13-week travel assignment on the night shift. All required certifications, immunizations, and compliance documents must be current prior to start.
