Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (MS/Tele)

Location: West Plains, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Patient Ratio: 1:6

Job Description

• Work on a Med Surg unit with Telemetry capabilities.
• Floating required if census does not support maintaining on the unit.
• Call required if census does not support.
• Skills required include:

  • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Services
  • Gastrointestinal
  • Genitourinary/Renal
  • IV therapy/Phlebotomy
  • Medications
  • Neurological
  • Orthopedics
  • Plastics (surgical drains)
  • Respiratory
  • Professional Topics and Skills
• Preferred skills: Cardiovascular, Endocrine/Metabolic, Oncology, Plastics
• Unit scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification
• Skills in Cardiac Monitoring, Emergency Services, Genitourinary/Renal, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Medications, Plastics, and Respiratory
