• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform necessary checks of diagnosis, prescription, patient identification, and orders.
• Greet patients, confirm identification, explain procedures to patients and families.
• Obtain patient history, screen for surgeries and implanted items, gain consent for contrast, verify GFR, and address patient concerns.
• Place angiocatheters and inject IV MRI contrast agents as directed by Radiologist.
• Operate MRI scanner, RF coils, MRI workstations, patient monitoring equipment, and MR injectors to produce high-quality images.
• Archive and verify MRI images to hard-copy format as needed.
• Perform quality assurance testing according to protocols.
• Monitor patient status, tolerance, and wellbeing throughout the study.
• Assist radiologists, doctors, and team members in completing procedures per protocol.
• Comply with OSHA, TJC, DOH, and other mandated safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain inventory supplies for assigned workstation, rotate stock, and eliminate outdated items.
• Respond to emergency situations according to department policies.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships within the facility and with external customers.
• Communicate equipment problems and image quality issues.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT certification
• MRI Certification
