Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Case Manager

Location: Charlottesville, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8 hours per day
• 2-3 weekends during the contract
• Every other holiday off
• Can approve up to 40 hours of RTO (Release Time Off)

Job Description

• Must have acute care hospital inpatient case management experience
• Must have either prior travel experience or EPIC system experience
• Can submit application with Virginia nursing license pending

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia (or eligible to submit with license pending)
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital inpatient case management experience within the last year
• Experience in an acute care inpatient setting
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Prior travel experience or experience with EPIC system required

Additional Requirements

• Professional appearance guidelines must be reviewed and acknowledged
• Facility-specific compliance and screening forms must be completed prior to start
• Fit testing required for patient-facing clinical roles (completed onsite if required)
• Fingerprinting required for Behavioral Health candidates and certain units
• Abuse registry search required for Behavioral Health and specific units
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification required for Behavioral Health nurses
