Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Step-Down

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse in Telemetry/Step-Down unit
Start Date: Approximately 3-4 weeks from compliance clearance
Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4-5 patients
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-call: Not required
Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
Block Schedule: Not accommodated
Local Candidates: Not accepted (75-mile radius rule)
Pending License: Accepted
Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Special Requirements:
- Telemetry/Step-Down experience required
- Experience with EKG and cardiac drips

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Step-Down experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
