Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide direct inpatient-level care to patients in their home environment.
Deliver nursing care based on individualized patient plans using remote clinical coordination and technology.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement therapeutic interventions.
Document patient care and maintain high quality and safety standards.
Work rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 11a-11p).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in home health, with home health experience within the last year.
Minimum 3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical-surgical RN experience, including acute care and med-surg experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
