Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Mansfield, Texas

Job Details

• Position requires experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cath Lab.
• Must have coiling and embolic experience.
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating days off.
• On-call duties are required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas.
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology (IR).
• Experience in Cath Lab procedures.
• Experience with coiling and embolic techniques.
• Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

Certifications & Competencies

• ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must renew with AHA only).
• BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must renew with AHA only).
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for Cath Lab Techs; two attempts allowed).
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (80% passing score required; two attempts allowed).
• NIH Stroke Certification (valid for two years; may be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Pass/Fail Testing for EKG and Medication exams required prior to start.
• Photo for badge required (passport style preferred).

Health & Background Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start.
• Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; annual updates required.
• Drug screening (10-panel) within 30 days of start.
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series and positive titer or signed declination form required.
• Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) and Varicella immunity documentation required.
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and sex offender search required within 30 days of start.
• Federal exclusion screenings (EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG) required within 30 days of start.

• I9 or attestation required.
• Valid government-issued photo ID or passport required.
• Fit mask test completed onsite during orientation; updated annually.
• Candidates must sign job description and facility-specific forms prior to start.
• Onsite orientation and competency testing required.
