Job Opportunity: Telemetry Nurse (Registered Nurse) - Travel/Contract

Location

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift Details

• Night shift
• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Total 36 hours per week

Unit Description

• Cardiac Specialty Unit

Patient Ratio

• Approximately 1:7-8
• May use team nursing model with ratios greater than 8

Weekend Requirement

• Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month

Job Responsibilities

• Float required (work on different units as needed)
• No on-call duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and monitoring
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Important Policies

• No holiday time off allowed during specified holidays (including major US holidays and local breaks)
• Photo for badge required (passport style, solid background, no filters or facial piercings)
• Utility bill or lease/mortgage statement required if living more than 75 miles from facility, matching license address

Additional Notes

• Orientation provided bi-weekly
• All certifications must not expire within 45 days of assignment start
• Screenshots or photos of certifications are not accepted; actual certificates must be uploaded
• Flu vaccine required for starts on or after 9/8/2025; medical or religious exemptions require agency-approved documentation
