Description

Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM (40 hours/week, 4x10-hour shifts, variable start times)


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in Endoscopy and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings.
  • Experience and knowledge of the EPIC electronic health record platform required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Endoscopy experience, with experience within the last year.
  • Experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred).
  • Tdap vaccination within 10 years (preferred).

Additional Requirements

  • Submission of a detailed resume including 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Completion of candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment.
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required upon acceptance and for any extensions.
  • Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation.

Notes

  • No prior travel experience explicitly required.
  • All credential verifications and health requirements must be current and compliant with facility policies.
  • No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing.
  • Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start date.

This position offers a structured 4-day workweek with variable start times, focusing on Endoscopy nursing care with integration of EPIC system knowledge.
