Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Unit: 41-bed Medical Telemetry Unit
Shift: 36 hours per week, rotating days/evenings/nights; day shifts rotate between 7a-7p, 11a-11p, and 7p-7a; night shifts are straight nights
Patient Population: Cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use disorder, genitourinary, gastrointestinal
Clinician-to-Patient Ratio:

Days: 1:4-5
Evenings/Nights: 1:5-6
Electronic Medical Record: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
