Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location

• Turnersville, New Jersey

Employment Type

• Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts accepted
• Floating between multiple nearby hospital locations required
• Weekend requirement: Every other or every 3rd weekend
• Holiday requirement: 1 holiday per contract
• Up to 4 call shifts per contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior travel experience not required

Required Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT certification
• New Jersey state license for Radiology Technologists
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Other certifications may be verified as applicable (e.g., PALS, TNCC) depending on specialty requirements

Orientation and Training

• Facility-specific education modules (~6 hours) must be completed prior to orientation
• Pass/Fail Basic Dysrhythmia Exam required during orientation (one attempt only)
• Signed acknowledgment of safety manual and pass/fail testing required

Documentation and Compliance Requirements

• I9 form and unexpired government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Education verification (official transcript acceptable)
• Physical exam within 2 months of start
• Fit test (3M 1870+ mask) within 12 months prior to start (must be completed before start)
• Immunizations and health screenings:

  • Current Tdap vaccine or titer
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days) or chest X-ray if positive
  • Annual TB questionnaire
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions for candidates born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccine no longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements; booster preferred but not required

Additional Requirements

• Two professional references within 2 years
• Work history verification for New Jersey candidates (minimum 1 year prior to start, allowing 30-day gaps)
• Ability to float between multiple hospital locations
• Charting system used: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black and Teal

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
• ARRT certification
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
